The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio once again brings Hollywood to Lancaster. Curated by Paramount Archivist, Randall Thropp, this exhibition promises to be a colorful showcase of creatively designed costumes from 1987 to the present.

The costume designer is a master of camouflage and illusion. Whether it’s t-shirts and jeans or elaborate medieval battle armor — they turn actors into memorable three dimensional characters. The exhibition features some of those memorable characters from various Paramount films, including: Coming to America, Forrest Gump, The Addams Family and Mission Impossible Rogue Nation.

Inspired by the book, Creating the Illusion by Jay Jorgensen and Donald Scoggins, the exhibition will feature over forty costumes and accessories on display — some for the first time outside of Hollywood!
