Thank You for a Plein Air Invitational to Remember

On a beautiful evening at Rhonemus Cellars, the vineyard became our studio. Artists spread out across the grounds, easels set among the vines, each capturing the landscape as they experienced it in the moment. Guests wandered between them, glass in hand, watching paintings take shape while enjoying good food, good wine, and good company. It was exactly the kind of evening we hoped for: art, artists, and community all in one place.

Our deepest thanks to Rhonemus Cellars, their staff, and everyone who worked behind the scenes. Your generous hospitality, delicious food, beautiful wines, and picturesque views created the perfect setting, and the countless details you handled made the night possible. We are so grateful for your partnership and for welcoming DACO, our artists, and our guests so warmly.

Our guests agreed. As one attendee, Carla Oesterle, shared, "The event venue was AMAZING! What a glorious place and I am sure I will come back."

Thank you to every artist who joined us. Your talent and creativity brought the evening to life, and the finished paintings beautifully reflected the setting and the moment. Your generosity in supporting DACO's outreach arts programming means so much to us.

The feeling was mutual. Painter Karen LaValley told us she "had fun painting at your event" and would "be happy to do it again next year." Anne Trautman said, "Overall it was a great event, and I was so happy to be a part of it," adding that she hopes to be invited back. Kevin Buckland and Susan Hansel also thanked everyone for being part of the evening.
