"An Ohio Portrait" is a collection of intimate Ohio portraits painted by Ohioans which have been culled from the vast collections of the Ohio Historical Society. The stories that these fine works of art tell have never been recounted before and "An Ohio Portrait" will be the first time they have been gathered in one place. Works of important Ohio artists such as Howard Chandler Christy, Emerson C. Burkhart, Lilly Martin Spencer and James Henry Beard will be featured throughout the exhibit.
"An Ohio Portrait" is a collaborative exhibit involving the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio and the Ohio Historical Society with Kim Feinknopf-Dorrian serving as the Curator.
