Internships
The internships listed below may be available for college undergraduate and graduate students throughout the school year and summer term. Internships are unpaid; schedules vary depending upon position. To learn more contact the Center, at 740.681.1423 or [email protected].
Education Internship: Assist with teaching art classes at the museum; develop an art class for the museum, either general admission or special needs; assist the Education Director with the development of museum education curriculum and exhibition-related educational programming
Program Internship: Conducts research on given topics related to the history and architecture of the Reese-Peters House and the museum’s permanent history collections; assist with developing and executing new public programming, including lectures, seminars, musical presentations, demonstrations, etc.; give tours of the Reese-Peters House and exhibitions
Communications Internship: Assist with management, design and execution of print material for exhibitions, fundraisers, and advertisements; assist with management and design of website and other internet marketing such as Facebook and Twitter; provide support in executing museum outreach initiatives
