Bringing the kids to the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio? After you all take in the art of our newest exhibition, Three Voices: Conversations on Life and Conflict, come downstairs to our children’s area. The children’s area allows for children of all ages to let their creative side out with art activities tailored to them. We have recently revamped the children’s area to coincide with our current exhibition. There is a section dedicated to the artwork of Judy Brandon that lets children try their hands at doing their own emotion driven weather-based water colors. They can also use oil pastels to create their own bright Leslie Shiels inspired drawings and patterns. Young artists will also have the chance to form their own nature inspired sculpture like Carol Snyder using Model Magic. If you want more artistic opportunities for your children be sure to sign them up for the many art camps and classes that we are offering this summer. Descriptions of our classes and camps can be found on our website under Program, Classes, and Events.
