Throughout the week at DACO, the campers made beautiful and unique art projects such as marbled paper, marbled ornaments, marbled patterned scarves, lanyards, and wall hanging marbleized decorations. Megan Taylor, DACO's instructor, said “The kids were really excited about the hands on experience, as well as being able to marble unconventional items such as sticks and leaves found in nature.”
Last week the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio teamed up with the Ohio Glass Museum and Art & Clay On Main to present the Marbles and Museums Camp. The campers traveled to the three museums downtown in order to learn about and make their own marbled artwork.
